`Mother of ALL ITCH! Argh... very suay... finally endure until week 34 liao and now kena PUPPP aka Pregnancy Rash. My arms, legs, tummy, butt, EVERYWHERE are full of red bumps and patches... I dun care how ugly it looks BUT I REALLY cannot take the itchiness liao! My WHOLE body here itchy there itchy and nothing can stop them... I want to cry... The itchiness is not like any type of normal rashes... it is so unbearable that I can wake up middle of the night suddenly just becoz it is too itchy! I can't even sleep in peace... *sob* Really... this pregnancy really got all sorts of "pattern". From high blood pressure...pre-term contractions... long term bed-rest... waterbag leak scare... unbearable pelvic pain... horrible piles... and now this rashes... so scared to imagine what else can go wrong when I am to deliver little Rhea out... really scared to even just think abt it... `Chicken pox scare @ Week 33 14 Sept - Halfway watching tv with hubby and suddenly realised my arms got lots of small red dots appearing. When pressed still got water come out... aiyo... scared the hell out of me... Will I be so suay to kena chicken pox now?? The more I check, the more red dots I found on both arms and legs. But nothing on the body. Hubby checked and say shldn't be chicken pox coz it shld be bigger lor. Sigh... cannot sleep... and the red dots gets real itchy... 15 Sept - Noticed that no more new dots appear on my arms so decided not to see gynae abt it. But at night, realised that I got A LOT of red itchy rash/dots on my big buttocks... cannot lah... better see gynae lah... not sure what is it... maybe is it allergy becoz of the Lychee Martini mooncake and cake I took? or what??? sigh... itchy and worrying.. 16 Sept - Called gynae clinic to check for walk in and luckily there is a slot. Shown gynae and she said might be pregnancy related rash which shld be gone after delivery. No seafood for now and gave me some cleanser, pills to stop the itch. Boy am I glad that it is not chicken pox or HFMD lor... now just have to endure with the itch... 4 more weeks... hopefully they will all be gone after Rhea is out... Oh... and after complaining abt my piles which bleeds easily, doc finally gave me some pills to deal with it. Praying hard that it works... I dun want bloody toilet bowl again... sob... One more week and I get to see Rhea again... and I will be 35 weeks!! Can go shopping liao! ♥ Thursday, September 2, 2010 @ 4:43 PM
`Week 32 Scan  Little Rhea is 32 weeks old!! She is 2.22kg and growing well.Oh... and finally I gained my 1st 2kg... but i think i can already see more coming up.. haa... As for me, sigh... lots of pelvic pain which I did not experience at all when I have Rhys. Doc say is becoz this is second pregnancy so the muscles and womb are more relaxed and loose so when baby gets bigger, it will tends to hang down and press on the pelvic area, hence all the horrible pain... nothing we can do... aiyo... walk so pain... just move my legs also pain... imagine I already not walking a lot lor... if I was working and climbing stairs every day, think I will die ah... ♥ Tuesday, August 31, 2010 @ 2:16 AM

`Glucose results FINALLY out!! The waiting game seems so long... Thursday I did the glucose test and results supposed to come out in 2 days max. Friday no calls... so I think maybe need 1 more day... Saturday no calls... maybe becoz sat half day... dun know if the test pass or not, might as well take this time to indulge before the bad news came... and its hubby's bdae so CHOCOLATE CAKE again!! keke... Sunday no calls... clinic close anyway, thinking monday shld be out... and the indulgence continues... this time BIL bot MAO SHAN WANG durian!! WOOHOO... I cannot imagine life without durian if I ever did fail my test!! Monday NO CALLS!!! What is going on?? Shld I call the clinic or shld I just continue waiting and worrying?? But I scared that if I call, and was told that I failed how?? argh... Tuesday... FINALLY the call came! The clinic assistant just told me my test results is normal and thats it... all the waiting and worrying finally ended. `Glucose Test @ Week 28 Finally we came to week 28, starting of my 3rd and final trimester! Glad that I can see Rhea again but worried as I am supposed to take the horrible glucose test on that day. I can still remember the last time I took this test when having Rhys... the horrible super sweet drink which makes me giddy and nausea. Yucks! Procedure is that I am supposed to fast from drinks and food from 12am midnight before that then 9.30am, draw a tube of blood before drinking the sweet sweet drink. Then come back again after 1 hr to draw the second tube of blood to test my blood sugar level and another 1 hr later, the last tube of blood to check if my body is handling the sugar well. If the blood test came out failed, I will need to watch my diet very strictly and got to prick my finger 7 times a day to test my blood sugar... if not good after monitoring, might even need to inject insulin like those diabetic patient! The thot of that really freaks me out. I am already stuck at home with limited food to eat and if i fail the test, what else can I eat?? gosh... really shiver even at the thot of that... Worse hor, I got to eat so much chocolate cakes on my birthday (few days before the test) and DURIAN! aiyo... very dangerous... scary... And sadly, hubby got to work so I got to do this test alone... Luckily, doc scanned Rhea first so I got to be happy before the test... Rhea is growing well... 1.367kg @ week 28. (I just realised after checking Rhys' blog that Rhys was only 1.2kg @ week 28... omg! Rhea is even bigger!!) The scan was fast and the happiest thing is that Rhea has turned head down! Was still quite worried when the last scan shows her still heads up... if breech hor, cannot go natural birth leh... so hopefully Rhea stays heads down from now on...  Then finally came the test... aiyo... I can take the drawing of blood but this time, the sweet drink is a mineral water BOTTLE!! got to gulp down 2 cups (whole bottle!) at one shot... gassy somemore. Taste more like ice-cream soda but sweetened 10 times more... YUCKS! After drinking, feel like vomitting so doc told me not to move so much coz some ppl will vomit them out... AND... got to drink them all over again!!! I got scared and just sit there outside for a while before heading back home. 1 hr later, went back for drawing my 2nd tube of blood... and becoz of some waiting here and there, I only need to wait for ard 40mins before I got to report again for last round. Decided to go mum's place since it is closer and managed to sort out some baby clothes with mum during that period. Went for the last round, took meds, mc and finally can eat after so long. Took lunch together with mum at kopitiam before going to Prime to get some grocery. Not everytime I can shop lor, so might as well... haha.... Now all I can do is to pray that my test dun fail.... doc say will take ard 2 days for results to be out and she will call me... Pls dun fail... pls dun fail... ♥ Tuesday, July 27, 2010 @ 3:45 PM
`Early contraction scare @ Week 26 26 July, felt something is wrong. Tummy seems harden a lot but not regular interval type like last time. No pain but just very uncomfortable. Sit also dun feel good... walk also dun feel good... So scared coz the past few days, I din get good sleep and rest as Rhys was having high fever for a few days. Scared that I may overexerted and the early contractions came back... yet, it might be due to my constipation leh... argh... dun know wat to do... if really contraction then how?? 27 July, finally decided not to think so much and called to book appt with gynae. Dun want to kena scolding from Dr Chen again for not seeing her when things happen... Dr. Chen checked and scanned. Everything seems fine. Rhea is 1.167kg and she even yawn for us to see... Water level in waterbag also seems normal. But Dr. Chen also felt my tummy a bit harden so she decided to put me on CTG to see if there are any contractions. So there I was, lie down for 20mins... luckily no contractions found and I am relieved. Really pay money to buy a peace of mind... Well this time, I get to get a scan pic of Rhea which make up for the missing one during my 24th week scan... hee...  |
